Personal Branding shoot and Headshots

It is MORE than a headshot!

Show your clients what your business feels like.  This is a photo session to show who you are, how your business feels and how it would feel to work with you.  This is a story of who you are.

Ask yourself “What are your goals” for this session.  Many sessions can include: a professional headshot, in action content and images for general social media content to represent your brand.

Wardrobe styling plays a major part in how you want your brand to be perceived.  Think about your personal style, you want your images to be a true reflection of yourself.  Think of classics that can be worn year-round.  Solids, neutrals, and colors that flatter your complexion work best.  Think figure flattering dress, a blazer with pants or pencil skirt and of course don’t forget the killer heels.

  • Here are some examples:

  •      Jeans/blue, white shirt and black leather jacket

  •      Jeans/blue,white, and white sweater with strappy sandals

  •      Skinny Jeans/blue,black,white, blouse or cami blouse and blazer with loafers or heels

  •      Jean jacket (dark wash as opposed to light or faded)

  •      Professional dress (solid darker color steer clear of pastels) and killer heels

  •      Blazer and pants (solid darker color not tweed or patterned) and killer heels

  •      Pencil skirt and well-fitting blouse (darker colors and a great white blouse) and killer heels

  •      Wide leg pants, fitted top and stylized white tennis shoes (NOT workout tennis shoes)

  •      Black leather pants, sequin top and killer heels Black dress blazer optional

  •      Evening dress with accentuating accessories and killer heels

  •  Jewelry should accentuate not overtake your outfit.  The same goes for shoes.

  •  Hats can be a flattering way to add dimension to your styling.

  • Incorporating your brand colors in the form of your accessories (shoes, hats , clutch) can add a flare of    whimsey.

Steer clear of colors and styles not suited to your body type.  For example, pants that are too long will make you look larger as they “pool” on the floor, always pay attention to your hem length.   Skirts that are too long, pleated and “poofy” will do the same to your waist.   Wedge heels, chunky sandals, dowdy flats will draw attention to your ankles where the high heels or boots will elongate your legs.  Flowey dresses without any shape will photograph you, without any shape.  You want your images to “WOW”.

ALWAYS try on your potential outfit choices, take pictures and make sure you LOVE how they look on you!  If you have a question about an outfit ask us!  We will tell you the truth.  Play fashion show for someone you trust.
